| PSF eLearning
The PSF eLearning Program is a 12-week online learning course covering modules on climate and disaster risk vulnerability assessment, process of accessing the PSF, project proposal development, and other sources of climate financing. It runs twice a year, which usually starts every February and August. Application for each batch takes place a month before the start of the course.
The first batch of PSF eLearning is composed of 50 students which are all representatives of local government units along the Yolanda corridor. It ended last December 2019.
The second batch called for applications last February, and started in March 2020. There are 45 students representing the following stakeholders: local government units, non-government organizations, national government agencies, and academic institutions. The second batch is expected to end on June 2020.
Announcements for PSF eLearning Batch 3 will be posted in this website and on the People's Survival Fund Facebook page.
| PSF Clinic
The PSF Clinic serves as an avenue for consultations to accommodate queries and concerns of potential project proponents. The main PSF Clinic is the PSF Unit's office at the Climate Change Commission. However, to accommodate larger groups, physical clinics may be organized. During the consultation, potential proponents and partners may also bring their concept notes and reference documents for checking, and initial evaluation.
| PSF One-on-One Mentoring Sessions
As part of the CCC's role in the operationalization of the Peoples Survival Fund, the CCC, through its PSF Unit conducts one-on-one mentoring sessions to extend technical assistance to eligible proponents in the development of a full-blown project proposal. During the mentoring, the proponent may consult with the experts in the CCC with regards to their project ideas and concept notes. PSF Scoping Missions may also be organized as part of the mentoring.
| PSF Enhancement Writeshops
PSF Enhancement Writeshops are conducted to provide technical assistance to proponents in the enhancement of their PSF submissions. As part of the PSF Process Flow, upon checking the completion of the documentary submissions by the PSF Board Secretariat, project proposals are transmitted to the CCC PSF Unit for climate rationale review and technical evaluation. Results of the evaluation are provided to the PSF Board Secretariat for immediate communication to the proponent. Should the proponent need technical assistance to address the results of evaluation, PSF Enhancement Writeshops may be conducted.
